Outstanding Suzuki Dealers Recognised

It's been a huge 12 months for Suzuki Marine. They have won two display awards at the 2006 Sydney International Boat Show, launched the powerful Suzuki 300hp four-stroke outboard and introduced a five-year recreational warranty for Suzuki EFI outboards.

The Haines Group's CEO John Haines, AM, said it took the support of a strong Suzuki dealer network for these achievements to benefit customers.

"With more than 80 dealers now retailing Suzuki outboards, genuine parts and accessories, there were many deserving more than a pat on the back," Haines said.

State Dealer of the Year winners included JV Marine (Melbourne, Vic), Satisfaction Marine (Labrador, Qld), All Boat Business (Perth, WA) and Coastal Marine (Somerset, Tas).

White Water Marine (Labrador, Qld) was named Service Dealer of the Year, while Powercat Marine was awarded OEM Supporter of the Year.

Excellence in Sales awards went to Active Marine (Hobart, Tas), Boat Scene (Cairns, Qld), Coast to Coast Boating (Morisset, NSW), J&B Marine (Ingham, Qld), Johnnies Marine (Port Lincoln, SA), Leo's Marine (Townsville, Qld), Mandurah Boating & Leisure (Perth, WA) and Springwood Marine (Brisbane, Qld).

Frenchy's Marine (Darwin, NT) received an award for Excellence in Service and Laguna Boating Centre (Noosaville, Qld) for Excellence in Suzuki Support. Queensland Dealer of the Year, Satisfaction Marine also received the Suzuki Marine Marketing Award, while Victorian Dealer of the Year, JV Marine was further recognised for Excellence in Inaugural Year.
